United Way Simcoe Muskoka currently has two funding opportunities available focused on addressing complex community issues. Combined, these calls for proposals represent over $4 million in funding dedicated to creating stronger communities and lasting change.
The 3-Year Community Collaborative Projects stream is funded through local donations and supports initiatives that address complex social issues across Simcoe Muskoka. By bringing organizations together around shared goals and objectives, these projects are intended to amplify the impact of community organizations while creating lasting change across the region.
The 1-Year Rural and Remote Capital Projects stream is funded through Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy, a federal homelessness initiative. These grants support capital improvements that strengthen housing and homelessness services in rural and remote communities across Ontario.
Together, these funding opportunities will help move people from poverty to possibility by supporting community-led solutions. If you know an organization that may be eligible, please help spread the word and encourage them to apply.
