March is the Month of Hope

These are tough times.

We continue to experience record setting inflation which is impacting everything from the price at the pump to our grocery bills. Safe sustainable housing is unattainable for many, and increased interest rates are making it so that some can no longer afford the homes that they already have. The gap between what many people are making and what they need to provide for their family is widening increasingly.

So many in our community are going through a hard time right now.

But there is hope – and that source of hope is you.

Every dollar donated to your United Way stays local to address the needs of those who need it most.

Whether it be through our commitment to provide funding to agencies on the ground breaking the cycle of poverty, or through our Urgent Needs Fund which connects those who need it most with direct financial support, your gift makes a difference.

When you give to your United Way, you can give to the area of greatest need, to our Urgent Needs Fund, or you can select one of several multi-year projects that we are funding in your community. You can choose to make a one-time gift, a monthly gift, or a gift of equities and stock. However you choose to give, we ask that you consider giving generously.

Because, when you give to your United Way, you aren’t just making a gift of dollars and cents.

You are giving the gift of hope.

Hope that we can build strong communities where everyone can thrive.

Hope that a family can transition from poverty to possibility.

Hope that a kid can reach their full potential.

Thank you for considering a charitable gift to your United Way; together, we can make a difference.

Sincerely,
