Local Businesses, Local Love

Give local when you shop local

On August 28, show your #LocalLove in Wasaga Beach

Local Businesses, Local Love is a way to highlight some of the incredible businesses, shops and restaurants in Wasaga Beach while giving back to the community that they call home. It’s a great way to not only have a fun time exploring Wasaga Beach, but feel good while doing it.

The idea started in 2018, when local Harvey’s owner Anand Patel donated a portion of his sales from December 17-23. He knows that, as a business owner, he’s not just there to serve the community, but give back to it, too.

Inspired by Anand’s actions, we are running the first annual Local Businesses, Local Love challenge on Wednesday, August 28. Participating businesses are donating 10-15% of their daily sales to United Way Simcoe Muskoka. So we encourage everyone to get out to Wasaga Beach and enjoy one of the last days of summer!

Help these businesses spread some #LocalLove!
