InnPower supports low-income customers

InnPower Corporation recently visited United Way Simcoe Muskoka (UWSM) to present a cheque for $25,471.99 – which exceeds the utility’s regulatory obligation to include a substantial corporate donation. These funds will support InnPower’s customers via the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), which UWSM administers on behalf of InnPower and several other energy providers across the province. UWSM runs an in-bound call centre as a social enterprise, connecting Ontarians with utility arrears to helpful programs, grants and local resources – including LEAP.
