Welcoming our Partner Agencies

Welcoming our Partner Agencies

Working together for Simcoe Muskoka.

This is what a network of community-builders looks like. Representatives of our Partner Agencies came together recently to share stories and lessons learned, to network and strengthen relationships, and to foster collaborations across local communities. @UWSimcoeMuskoka, we fund high-impact programs delivered by them. Together, we power results that are game-changing for thousands of regional residents – and that’s the BEST #ReasonToGive.

At the table that day were (standing, l-r) Jenaya Forbes (John Howard Society of Simcoe & Muskoka), Michelle Bergin (Catholic Family Services of Simcoe County), Rosslyn Junke (United Way Simcoe Muskoka), Tami Tarini (Independent Living Services of Simcoe County & Area), JoAnn Stephan (Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe), Miranda Chaffey (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orillia and District), Amanda Giles (Boys & Girls Clubs of North Simcoe), Amy Jones (YWCA Muskoka), Clearview Township Deputy Mayor Barry Burton (Clearview Youth Centre), Robin Heald (Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Georgian Triangle), Jenna Thorkildsen (United Way Simcoe Muskoka), Dale Boyle (Gilbert Centre); (seated l-r) Tracy Wood (Elizabeth Fry Society of Simcoe County) and Dwayne O’Connor (Home Horizon).

Not represented in person for the photo (participation is also welcome by teleconference) were Big Brothers Big Sisters of Barrie and District, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muskoka, CMHA York and South Simcoe, Gateway Centre for Learning, Hospice Muskoka, and Muskoka Family Focus & Children’s Place.

Local giving. Local results.
