Your Legacy in Action

Back in May, I shared how a legacy gift to United Way Simcoe Muskoka can carry your impact forward for generations. But if you’re like me, you want to know what that really looks like.

It looks like a senior, struggling to make ends meet, being able to access the resources they need to live with dignity and self-respect.

It looks like a young adult, overwhelmed by anxiety, finally feeling seen, supported, and connected to their community.

It looks like a family finding safe, stable housing after months of mounting stress and uncertainty.

It looks like hope, compassion, and lasting change made possible through your generosity.

By including your United Way in your estate plans, you are investing in the changes you want to see in your community: reducing poverty, supporting well-being, and strengthening the social safety net that so many rely on.

If you’re thinking about the kind of legacy you want to leave, we’d be honoured to talk. We’ll walk with you every step of the way to ensure your values and vision are reflected in the impact you leave behind.

Thank you for believing in this work, and in the future we can build together.

Your United Way in Action

Bringing Wellness Where It’s Needed Most

Your United Way has committed three years of funding to the Mobile Youth Wellness Hub. In it’s first year, the Hub has connected with nearly 600 youth across Muskoka, delivering vital mental health, wellness, education, and cultural supports, right in the heart of the communities that need it most.
One youth’s story says it all:
What began as a moment of fear, pregnant, without housing or income, transformed into a journey of courage and connection. Through the Hub, she found not just care, but compassion. A nurse practitioner became her anchor, and a community of organizations rallied around her. Despite language barriers and urgent needs, housing was secured, prenatal care provided, and her baby was welcomed into a home filled with hope.

This is what happens when advocacy, compassion, and collaboration come together.

This is what transformation looks like.

This is the Mobile Youth Wellness Hub.
