Through contests, competitions, mixers and other memorable experiences, we inspire others to learn more, dream more and do more.
Throughout the past year, Simcoe Muskoka residents living in poverty have faced barriers like never before. To help our most vulnerable, UWSM expanded our Urgent Needs Fund to meet the most pressing needs of our community when no one else could.
To celebrate the hope given through the Urgent Needs Fund, UWSM is bringing back the Month of Hope in March, and GenNext Simcoe Muskoka will be hosting #HopeMoves. This fitness challenge is one that can be done by anyone, from anywhere, and raises money to support the Urgent Needs Fund and the Simcoe Muskoka residents and families who will need assistance more than ever in the coming months.
GenNext is Now – our generation is now the largest living generation. That’s right, the largest. By 2028, this crew will account for more than 75% of the workforce in Canada. Now is the time to help build strong communities for our future.
GenNext is Passionate – we are on a purpose-driven path to create something amazing, because we believe that together, we can change lives.
GenNext is Involved – we want meaningful engagement and volunteer opportunities. We want to be inspired by others and, in turn, motivate other to get involved.

Many thanks to Georgian College’s Graphic Design Program for partnering with United Way Simcoe Muskoka to enable senior students to provide professional design services to Simcoe Muskoka non-profits in exchange for credit. A special shout out to design student Taylor Price who brought his talent, training and professionalism to the table in working with us to create our fab new logo.
