COVID-19 is top of mind for everyone and is affecting the way we all support those who are vulnerable in our communities. This pandemic has created increased supply shortages and service disruptions, and thus there is a higher demand for local services.
United Way Simcoe Muskoka is pleased to provide funding to local community service organizations that provide rapid, emergency community support to vulnerable community members. The funds are being distributed as part of Employment and Social Development Canada’s (ESDC) Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF). This funding is meant to assist charities to adapt frontline services and support the most vulnerable in Simcoe Muskoka during the COVID-19 pandemic.
