United Way Simcoe Muskoka has launched a new Community Impact investment framework with a refined focus on Poverty Reduction and Inclusion. Donor dollars will support cross-sector collaborative projects defined by local poverty related issues in each sub-region.
UWSM, in partnership with Ligaya Byrch & Associates, is hosting a training session that will prepare partners to: build a collaborative approach with cross-sector partners; determine roles and work strategically; navigate risk management; achieve shared outcomes over a multi-year project; begin to build an effective MOU; and much more.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Training is mandatory for organizations planning to apply for funding.
